Australia, Phil Quinlan has 20 years’ experience in restructuring, turnaround
and financial investigations across Australia and the UK. He specialises in
formal appointments and investigative reviews, and has also advised a wide
range of businesses from SMEs to large corporates in informal restructuring
roles. With knowledge of cross-border insolvency and multi-jurisdictional
issues, his industry expertise spans financial services, hospitality,
manufacturing, retail and construction.
Phil is a
Registered Liquidator in both Australia and New Zealand and has worked on major
cross-border matters including Halifax Investment Services – financial services
licensee (AU and NZ) and Dick Smith – retail (AU and NZ). He is an ARITA Fellow
and joined the National Board in 2025 as the NSW/ACT Division representative.
He currently serves on the ASIC Liaison Committee and the Finance, Governance
and Risk Committee.
