Further update on ASBFEO Insolvency Inquiry

In response to ARITA’s queries, including regarding the interim report which was originally scheduled for release on 11 December, the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman's office has today advised us that a discussion paper will now be released this week.

We are told the discussion paper will, amongst other things, for the first time invite direct submissions from parties other than small business.

ARITA will review the discussion paper and respond on behalf of members in accordance with our established policy positions.

Also, in line with our regular practice, we will also endeavour to provide guidance for members who may seek to make their own submissions.
