Submission: Feedback now open for AFSA’s draft Practitioner Vulnerability Toolkit
23/02/2026
The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) has released a draft Practitioner Vulnerability Toolkit to help practitioners identify and respond to people experiencing vulnerability in the personal insolvency and personal property security systems.
The toolkit consolidates existing AFSA resources into a clear and accessible format. It is designed to help practitioners, their staff, and clients quickly find information, practical guidance and free support services. It also outlines model trustee behaviour when engaging with people experiencing vulnerability.
AFSA invites respondents to review the draft Practitioner Vulnerability Toolkit and the accompanying draft Helping Vulnerable People AFSA Consultation resource, and provide your feedback via the Have your say page.
Consultation closes by 5.00pm (AEDT) on Friday 6 March 2026.
