Submission: Consultation on IGPG on Gambling Offences

The Australian Financial Security Authority has developed a draft Inspector-General in Bankruptcy Practice Guidance on Gambling Offences.

The guidance is intended to provide clear support options and legal obligations for people experiencing financial distress due to gambling harm, and for registered practitioners in referring identified breaches of section 271 of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 to AFSA Enforcement.

ARITA will be making a submission on behalf of its members and any feedback regarding the draft IGPG can be sent to [email protected].
